Purebred Application Form

Partial Blood Application Form

The CKMR defines a partial blood as a foal who has one parent that is a Mustang  and the other as a pure Kiger who’s lineage can be traced back to either the Kiger Herd Management Area or the Riddle Herd Management Area.

Junior Kiger Club Application Form

The CKMR offers an opportunity to all young adults between the ages of 10 and 17 to participate in the Junior Kiger Club (JKC). The JKC is a new program designed to bring young adults together from across Canada and the US in order to foster new friendships while learning about the Kiger breed. Kiger ownership is not required to apply for the JKC.

Voting Membership Application Form

The CKMR offers their members the right to have their voice heard. By joining the CKMR as a full voting member, you will be included in all registry decisions, have access to the members only web page, be placed in our group email list and have the ability to submit proposals for changes, amendments and/or new business. Please note; as of 2008, our membership fees have been increased. All new members and renewed membership Applications will reflect this increase. Kiger ownership is not required to apply for membership as an active voting member in the CKMR.

Half Kiger Application Form

The CKMR defines a half Kiger as a foal who has one parent that is registered as a pure bred in any domestic registry such as Arab or Quarter Horse, and the other parent as a pure Kiger who’s lineage can be traced back to either the Kiger Herd Management Area or the Riddle Herd Management Area.

Adult Application Form

The CKMR defines an adult member as 18 years of age or older. The adult membership entitles this member all the rights and privileges associated with the CKMR in accordance to the rules, regulations and bi-laws.  It offers a unique opportunity to learn and enjoy your Kiger while meeting new members across North America.

Stallion Report

All CKMR members actively breeding pure Kigers, Partial blood Kigers or Half Kigers are required to fill out and submit a stallion report to the CKMR no later than August of said breeding year. Failure to do so may result in delays during the foal registration process.

The CKMR defines a purebred Kiger as one who can trace their Kiger’s sire and dam lines back to either one or both of the two “Herd Management Areas” (HMA’s), Kiger HMA and Riddle HMA.
