Text Box: The Canadian Kiger Mustang Registry recognizes and participates with registries and breeders that support and maintain an ethical and structured system that recognize and support the development of the pure Kiger Mustang breed. To protect the integrity of the Registry, the CKMR will be closing its books to horses who base their heritage on Kiger Herd Management Area and Riddle Mountain Herd Management Area foundation Kigers born after December 31, 2003. This decision was a difficult one and based on reliable information received regarding changes in management practices. The following registries support and promote these ethical decisions.
